Open any person from the Members page to reach their profile. It gathers everything the system knows about them in one place.

What is on the page

The header carries their name, their status, and their household. The household name is a link, so you can move up to the family and across to a relative in two clicks. Contact and personal details are the fields from their record: email, phone, birth date, Hebrew name, Hebrew birth date, gender, membership type, and their role in the household. Tags show every tag on this person, both the ones applied to them directly and the ones they get from their household. See Tags. Yahrzeits lists observances linked to this person, meaning the ones where they are the person being reminded. Following the link opens the full record.

Who can see what

Not everyone sees the whole profile. Roles with limited contact access, which are Board Member and Volunteer, see the person’s name, household, membership type, and status, but the contact and identity fields appear empty for them. Specifically, those roles do not see email, phone, birth date, Hebrew name, Hebrew birth date, gender, or the household’s address and phone. This is worth knowing when someone tells you a field looks blank on their screen but full on yours. It is usually their role, not a lost record. See Roles and permissions.

Pastoral notes

Clergy accounts have a pastoral notes section that no other role can see, including Admin. Notes recorded there stay between clergy. Pastoral notes survive the deletion of the member they were attached to, so a sensitive record is never silently swept away by a directory cleanup.

Editing

Edit opens the same panel used when the member was created. Changes save when you confirm them, and you are warned if you try to close the panel with unsaved changes.
